最近小编有点苦恼，过去几个月一直在跟进一个项目，现在到了谈判阶段，双方僵持不下，谈判陷入了“僵局”。无奈呀无奈。 不过小编一想，这不也是广大小伙们也可能遇到的情况么，那为啥不跟大家分享一下“僵局”的英文表达呢？
Deadlock（名词）僵局、僵持
这个词的拼写很好记，dead 都知道吧，lock 作为“锁”大家也很熟悉吧。 deadlock组合在一起相信含义大家也很好理解了。
Deadlock- a situation in which agreement in an argument cannot be reached because neither side will change its demands or accept any of the demands of the other side. 这个词的含义呢就是说由于说法都不肯让步导致无法达成共识。
现在呢，咱们来学习一下“僵局deadlock” 在英语中如何使用吧？
情景一 陷入僵局 reach a deadlock
示例： The negotiation has reached (a) deadlock. 谈判陷入僵局. （注意：句中的“a”可以有也可以没有。）
或者也可以说 The negotiation ended in (a) deadlock.
情景二 打破僵局break (end) the deadlock
Someone will have to compromise if we are going to break the deadlock. 如果我们要打破僵局就得有人做出让步。
情景三 ****的僵局（什么样的僵局）deadlock over
School authorities have made some new policies in an attempt to end the deadlock over wage levels. 学校领导出台新政策以打破工资水平问题的僵局。
